The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar, patented in 1996, was chosen "Watch of the Year" by the Swiss horological magazine Montres Passion.

The Patek Philippe 5146R is the latest addition to the Annual Calendar family. It features date, day of the week and month; moon phases and power reserve indication. It knows which month has 30 and 31 days: it automatically displays the correct date, month and day of the week.

The Patek Philippe 5146R features a cream colored dial with gold applied hour markers and numerals. . The Patek Philippe Ref. 5146R comes on a brown aligator strap with fold-over clasp. The Ref. 5146R has a contemporary case size of 39mm and is water resistant to 30meters.

The Patek Philippe 5146R has a sapphire crystal case back which displays the Caliber 315 S QA 24h self-winding movement which is made up of 225 individual parts.
